Biography

Keith Campbell is an Honorary Associate and Emeritus Professor of Philosophy in the School of Philosophical and Historical Enquiry at the University of Sydney. Campbell is one of the founders of Australian metaphysics and, within it, of a variety of trope theory. Campbell is best known for his publications Body and Mind (1970), Metaphysics: an introduction (1976), Abstract Particulars (1991) and Ontology, Causality, and Mind: Essays in Honour of D.M. Armstrong (co-edited with John Bacon, and Lloyd Reinhardt) (1993).
