Biography

Nicholas J.J. Smith is a philosopher whose research interests include logic, philosophy of language, metaphysics, probability, decision theory, epistemology, and the history of analytic philosophy. He is the author of Vagueness and Degrees of Truth (2008) and Logic: The Laws of Truth (2012) as well as numerous papers in journals and edited collections.

Nicholas is an Associate Editor of the Australian Journal of Philosophy, President of the Australasian Association for Logic, and a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Sydney.
