Biography

Robin Torrence is Senior Research Scientist of the Anthropology Collection at the Australian Museum. Her research interests include archaeology, the roles of ancient material culture in people’s daily lives, social strategies and long terms adaption, the manufacture, design and exchange of tools and how it can help people minimise risk, Anthropology. She has conducted fieldwork in Greece, Papua New Guinea and eastern Russia.
