Biography

Dr Tennant has been a Fellow of the British Academy since 1979. Before taking up his appointment at The Ohio State University he held positions at the University of Edinburgh, University of Stirling, and the Australian National University. His research interests include Logic, especially proof theory, intuitionism, relevance, belief-revision and computational logic; Evolutionary Epistemology; the Realism/Anti-Realism debate in Metaphysics; Philosophy of Mathematics; Philosophy of Science, especially Philosophy of Biology; and Philosophy of Language.
