Biography

Frank Sear holds an appointment at the University of Melbourne. He has taught at the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, London and Adelaide. He has worked on and directed archaeological digs in the Mediterranean world, including North Africa; Pompeii, Gubbio, and Taormina in Italy; Orange in France; and Jerash in Jordan. He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London.
