David Frankel

Biography

Professor Frankel worked in the Department of Western Asiatic Antiquities, The British Museum before returning to Australia in 1978 to take up a lectureship at La Trobe University. From 1996 to 1998 he served on the Humanities Panel of the Australian Research Council. His research interests include Australian Aboriginal archaeology and the archaeology of Bronze Age Cyprus. He is joint Editor-in-Chief of the Swedish monograph series Studies in Mediterranean Archaeology.
