Biography

Peter Davis is currently a Visiting Research Fellow in the Department of Classics, Archaeology and Ancient History at the University of Adelaide. Prior to this he taught Classics at the University of Tasmania from 1975-2008, serving as head of Classics for fourteen years and as the head of the School of History and Classics for three. His research interests include: political aspects of Latin literature in the early Roman empire, Ovid, Seneca’s Tragedies and Flavin Epic, Latin and Classical Greek languages and literature.
