Biography

Professor John Bigelow has been a lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, a lecturer, senior lecturer, and reader at La Trobe University, Australia, Professor at Monash University and Head of the School of Philosophy, Linguistics and Bioethics, Monash University. He is Associate Editor of the Australasian Journal of Philosophy (from 1994) and was President of the Australian Association of Philosophy in 1995. His research interests include metaphysics, semantics, epistemology, and the history of science.
