Biography

Dr Jackie Huggins AM was Deputy Director, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit, at the University of Queensland. She is also the former co-chair of Reconciliation Australia and a past council member for the Australian Institute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies. She is on the Board of the Australian Centre for Indigenous History and has published widely in Australian History and women’s studies.
