Biography

Professor Malcolm Gillies is a musicologist and linguist, and Emeritus Professor of the Australian National University. He was Vice-Chancellor of London Metropolitan University 2009-14, and Vice-Chancellor of City University London 2007-09. During 2002-07 he was Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Australian National University. He was the President of the Australian Academy of the Humanities from 1998-2001.
