Biography

Tony Cousins is Professor of English at Macquarie University. He is on the Editorial Board of Moreana, the international journal of More and Erasmus studies, and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Language, Literature and Culture. His research interests include the literature and culture of early modern England, the historiography of the history of ideas, and utopian narrative. He has been a Visiting Adjunct Professor at the Renaissance Studies Center at the University of Massachusetts, a Visiting Scholar at Princeton and at Penn State, and a Library Fellow at the Library of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was also an Honorary Fellow at the Institute for Research in the Humanities. Holds a black belt in Kung fu.
