Biography

Margaret Clunies Ross is Emeritus Professor of English language and early English literature at the University of Sydney. Her areas of research expertise include Old Norse-Icelandic Studies, Norse mythology, the Norse literature of fantasy, medievalism, the history of Anglo Saxon, Norse, and Gothic studies. She was President of the Australian Academy of the Humanities from 1995-98.
