Humanities in Australia Today

The Australian Academy of the Humanities was awarded a grant by the Australian Research Council under the Linkage - Learned Academies Special Projects Programme, to undertake a review of the academic humanities in Australia.

The project gathered data on the range and load of research and teaching in the humanities and conducted consultations with humanities scholars to identify present and foreseeable challenges. A key focus of the project was the international collaboration activities of Australia’s humanities researchers. A report will be available shortly.
