The Humanities Travelling Fellowships offer grants of up to $4000 to support Australian early career researchers in the Humanities to undertake research overseas, including accessing archives and other research materials and connecting with international researchers and networks.
The biennial David Philips Travelling Fellowship is also being offered this year. The amount awarded is $4000. Preference is given to proposals that contribute to the advancement of knowledge of racial, religious or ethnic prejudice. Applications from researchers of South African history are particularly welcome; however, researchers with other areas of geographical interest are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants can indicate whether they wish to apply for the David Phillips in the application form for the Humanities Travelling Fellowship.
The Publication Subsidy Scheme offers grants of up to $3000 to support the publication of scholarly works of high quality in the Humanities. The scheme is designed to assist Humanities scholars based in Australia.
The Ernst and Rosemarie Keller Award offers up to $5000 to support the research activities of scholars domiciled in Australia whose research is concerned with German history, literature, language, politics or culture, or
German contributions to the history, literature, languages, politics or culture of either Australia or the Asia-Pacific region.
