Information sessions for the Government's Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) programme are being held in capital cities between 13 and 24 February. This 15th funding round targets social innovation, sustainable regional communities, and clean manufacturing.

The CRC programme is a long standing Australian Government initiative that supports end-user driven research partnerships between publicly funded researchers and end-user organisations (from either the private, public or community sector) to address major challenges facing Australia, many of which are global challenges. CRCs must comprise at least one Australian end-user and one Australian higher education institution (or research institute affiliated with a university).

The information sessions are an excellent opportunity for groups to find out about the CRC programme. There will also be an opportunity for potential consortia to meet with the departmental representatives in the afternoon of the scheduled information session. Prospective applicants who are not able to attend an information session and would like to meet with the department should contact the CRC programme at the details below.

If you would like to attend this information session, please RSVP to crc.program@innovation.gov.au with your name, organisation, information session city and indicate if your proposed consortia would like an individual meeting with the department.

Further details about the CRC programme and the information sessions can be found on the CRC website.
