The Academy is delighted to announce that it has awarded 12 travel bursaries for early career researchers from Australia and New Zealand to attend the inaugural conference of the Australasian Association for the Digital Humanities (aaDH).
The Academy has taken an active interest in the digital humanities field for a number of years, providing the funding and logistical support for a workshop in March last year which led to the establishment of the aaDH. We are very pleased to be able to continue to contribute towards the strengthening of the digital humanities in our region by supporting the ‘Digital Humanities Australasia 2012: Building, Mapping, Connecting’ conference.
The bursaries are made possible through the Academy's ARC-LASP funded project
Humanities Connections.
A draft conference programme is now
available.
