Griffith Review and The Writing Centre for Scholars and Researchers of the University of Melbourne recently announced a series of innovative master classes addressing the gap between the high quality of Australian academic research and the interests of the wider public, key policy-makers and international markets.
The Humanities in the Community Master Classes project is supported by the Sidney Myer Fund. The master classes will provide an important link between academic research and public knowledge. Calls for applications will be advertised nationally and in each university.
The Humanities in the Community Master Classes will offer a timely and innovative opportunity for academic authors to make a more significant impact on the national discussion.
