Leading publishers, booksellers, academics and librarians discussed the future for the academic book in Australia at a forum organised by the
National Scholarly Communication Forum under the auspices of the Australian Academy of the Humanities.
Held on 19 September at the University of Melbourne, the forum brought together representatives from Universities Australia, the Australian Research Council, the Australian Publishers Association, the Copyright Agency Limited, the Council of Australian University Librarians and members the Book Industry Strategy Group.
