Expertise: Fifteenth to seventeen century Hispanic literature, questions of gender in early Hispanic literature.

Professor Robert Archer is Cervantes Chair of Spanish at King's College London. He works on medieval and early modern Hispanic literature, and has special interests in poetry. He is also a corresponding member of the Academia de Buenas Letras de Barcelona and the Institut d'Estudis Catalans.
