Memories, Monuments and Memorials

November 17-20 2004, University of Tasmania, Hobart

The 2004 Annual Symposium, held at the University of Tasmania from the 17th to the 20th of November, was a wonderful success. Participants were able to enjoy a wide range of presentations on diverse themes from key note speaker Peter Conrad, convenors Marilyn Lake and Henry Reynolds, outgoing Academy President Iain McCalman, former head of the National Museum of Australia Dawn Casey, author Nicholas Shakespeare, to name but a few.
